X6782 To BY/NHW. from EFC. EFC3/T4.2.26. RE INSTRUCTION BOOK. In the new 20 HP. instruction book, in the paragraph "Care of battery under Running Conditions" we have added the sentences :- "It is most important that the battery should not be allowed to stand with its terminal voltage below 10.8, as this will shorten its life." "It is of even greater importance to keep all plates always well covered with electrolyte." No doubt in making up the new New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I instruction book, we shall include these two sentences, and owing to the importance of these, I suggest they should be put in in heavy type, as might have been done in the 20 HP. case had we thought about it. There may, of course, be various other items suggested from the 20 HP. book, which may be included in the new 40/50, but this one I mention at the moment as it has just cropped up. EFC. | ||
