7. PETROL RESERVE UNIT.

I should like to examine one of these fittings.

8. SMITH'S INSTRUMENTS.

The trip on 9.B.V. speedometer has again gone wrong. I would like this instrument removed and put on Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}'s rig and the behaviour of the trip carefully checked.

A report should then be sent to Smith & Son, with the instrument.

9. PROPELLOR SHAFTS.

We want you to investigate how much improvement can be made in the propellor shaft period by attending to the floor of the car. If a definite improvement can be made, this should be demonstrated to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.

10. FRONT PIVOT LUBRICATION.

I should like to see a scheme of this.

11. 3.B.50 TYRE WEAR.

I should like a diagrammatic sketch of the two types of pivot that have been tried on 3.B.50.

12. EXHAUST SYSTEMS.

We should like the shortened Duplex exhaust system with straight-through rear pipes, to be fitted to 9.B.V.

13. JACKS.

There is a scheme for trunnion mounting the jacks. We ought to try and get one of these fitted to a car and check up that it functions satisfactorily.

14. SLIDE ROOF.

This matter should be taken up with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG and he should issue a report forthwith as to what he recommends for overcoming the trouble.
