It is assumed that nitro hardened parts are strong and right for all work where there is no concentrated load, such as gear wheels, camshafts and tappets. I suggest it would be worth the risk to get at least £20,000 worth of such parts as crankshafts and liners for "F" and "H" engines, and go ahead with car crankshafts. The object of this stock is to enable continuity of producing, not missing profit orders because we cannot deliver.
