RE - CHROMIUM PLATING.

I have recently seen several failures of
this both from our own and other sources, and it
occurred to me that providing a substantial coating of nickel
is adopted, the thinner (i.e. very thin bright deposit)
coating of chromium may be the more reliable. Naturally
it may also have the advantage in cost.
