[STAMPED: RECEIVED 1 JUL 1930] Dear Mr. De Looze, Re Miss England II. I herewith enclose draft proof of Mr Ellor's evidence and also a copy for his use. [Handwritten: should] Mr Ellor rang me up to-night and I arranged with him that he go through the proof the first thing tomorrow morning and let me have it back with any amendments which he might consider to be desirable. I also send you - (1) Copy of statement originally issued to the press, (2) Copy of original statement by Mr Willcocks, and (3) Copies of proofs of evidence of Mr Willcocks, Mr T.C. Pattinson and Mr J.G.A. Kitchen. I presume that Mr Ellor will make a further inspection of the engines after they have reached Derby and when he has done so I can obtain a supplemental statement from him as to their condition if this is considered advisable.
