RR.F. CAMSHAFT DRIVE.
We send herewith drg.LeC.2588/9 shewing the
above.
The former deals with alterations to the present
engine on the A.{Mr Adams} unit side, and also shews modifications to the
design already sent for B. unit to provide for end adjustment
of the drive.
LeC.shews a design for future use on the lines of
the scheme discussed during your last visit, having plain bearings
and plain thrust collar.
The lubrication of the collar is provided by oil
collected at the top of the housing from the supply issuing from
the end of the camshaft.
