Y 5840 G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} W. Hancock, Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. To GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/WJ.25.3.30. With reference to your report of the 23rd.inst. We should like to know whether you are complaining of detonations on the magneto. We know that detonations of magneto will be excessive on the car but we are not interested in this particular feature because the magneto is only a stand-by ignition. We may have to drop our maximum speed by retarding the timing of the magneto but we should like to know whether your comments refer to battery ignition or not. Our tests shew us that the old type K.1 K.L.G. plugs are hopeless. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
