Oil Consumption In connection with the 4-port head the increased waterways referred to at previous meeting are being left out until tested. 2. 32-EX The list of features asked for at last meeting was produced but the position was not cleared except for two contained in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}1/R8.11.37, i.e. overdrive and solid rocker gears. 3. Bearings Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} recommended that more running be done with Hall's metal bearings, and that 15 sets be brought through on production and applied to customers' cars in order to get some experience. This was agreed to. 4. Fuel Consumption Works report an improvement of about 1 m.p.g. by reason of mods.introduced to carburettor. Also an improvement in starting the engine. | ||
