To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X8440 ORIGINAL EFCL/T23.8.27. KLAXON SWITCH ON CHASSIS 9-EX. During my weekend run on this chassis, the moving contact of the Klaxon switch came adrift from its spring, and wedged between the two contact springs, causing the horn to blow continuously until released. It appears from other reports that this contact may have been loose for some time. I found the contact practically worn away, and should be pleased if you would have a new one fitted to this switch.
