attention to the following points:-

1. There is a slight, but definite, piercing whistle in the back carden joint which seems to come on and go off for no particular reason, and in spite of repeated doses of both thick and thin oil.

2. There is a bolt in the scuttle under the dash which squeaks badly, and which I think wants renewing.

3. The feed pipe to the carburetter has got an ugly bit of solder on it, and I would like a new pipe.

4. We suspect the clutch is beginning to slip, and would like it seen to, please. also compensation of brakes.

5. I should like a "stop" light fitted if possible.

I should be prepared to pay up to £50 for what is done, but very much hope that the bill will be considerably less ! In any case, I am prepared to leave it entirely to you to say what should be done, as you so kindly suggested.

Very many apologies for such a long letter.

Yours sincerely,

Rothes-
