To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ1/H12.8.24 (Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}) -2- near perfection as possible, namely, 107-MG, and for that reason we suggested in our telegram of the 9th that front brakes, springs strong front springs and heavy axle should be fitted to 107-MG to enable us to ascertain whether the fitting of these made that car more uncomfortable than when it was fitted with its present standard front springs, axle, etc. I have reported to C.J. that our demonstration landaulet, fitted with front brakes and heavy axle is in my opinion sufficiently satisfactory for us to order springs for closed cars. The car is going down to Kingsdown, and C.J. will try it and return it to us to-morrow, with his instructions. We hope that on its return the front brakes, springs, etc. can be transferred to 107-MG for a final test, so that we may then instruct in regard to front springs being ordered for open cars. B.J. | ||
