Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Lidsey.

Dear Sirs,

We duly received your letter of the 8th inst, and note that a misunderstanding has arisen with regard to radiators suitable for your type E.81407.

We are proceeding as instructed by you to increase the size of the bottom tank in order to utilise the core which was obtained for your radiator type E.77675.

While writing we should like to draw your attention to the flow-test on the radiator ( your blueprint Ex.10479) which has been fitted with a Harrison "V" Bonded Core Block, and to say that we should anticipate from the results which we have recorded that it would not be possible to get optimum conditions of heat dissipation with the arrangements of the bottom tank and outlet pipe which you have provided.

We remain at your service to offer further suggestions in this connection if you feel from the results which you obtain that our opinion is well grounded.

Remaining entirely at your disposal.

Yours faithfully,

per pro JOHN MARSTON LIMITED
