to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to BJ. and HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 47830 EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/11.6.26. BODY SUBFRAME SECRET E.A.C.VII. -X.7380. We send herewith N.Scheme 2207. shewing the body subframe for E.A.C.VII. We wish to make all the full scale schemes of the various sections following the lines of our most recent instructions for the Phantom. As we presume only one E.A.C.VII, will ever be built we suggest that the side members of the subframe be built up by welding. We wish HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to confirm that the chassis which he is building up is for "D" type steering, and long chassis. A design of battery in the frame as indicated will follow in a short while. We have shewn the cross members with sets to suit the reduced size of propeller shaft and small diameter of fabric coupling. We wish these to be used. As soon as the designs are completed we would be glad if you would send them to W.W. One subframe is urgently needed at Messrs. Barker's for either a Sham Carbiolet or a Beatonson Allweather.
