RE BODY FOR FIRST E.A.C.VII. [Handwritten]: X7830

We thank you for your C10/C17.5.26. re the above body.
We want a closed body for a D.type steering long chassis.
It will be necessary to build the body specially for this car .
HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} suggested that you might have some type of body which
you would like to experiment with and in which case this would be
an opportunity. I have a feeling that, unless you have a particular
choice, we should have one of Barkers Sham Cabriolets.

We shall keep the body on a subframe as all our experimental
cars are so mounted. The saving in cost of bodies in the 10,000
miles trials due to increased life is great. see DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M10.5.26.
The writer hopes to be at Sales soon after the holiday
and he will arrange to see to the above .
