ENOTS FILTER.
The one feature which we take exception to with the Enots filter is the use of fibre washers behind the unions. These joints have on and off, leaked.

BATTERY IN FRAME. LOP. 80544 SCH.1132.
We have had no trouble with the battery and fittings. A fair amount of distilled water has been added due to overcharge.

BIJUR SYSTEM CASTROL 'R' OIL USED THROUGHOUT THE TEST. NEW PUMP SENT OUT AND FITTED.
We had several Bijurs fail to pass sufficient oil during the first part of the test. These were removed. A new complete set of Bijurs were fitted during the test. The following Bijurs were fitted to increase the oil supply. Rear dampers supplying the conn. links S.O. taken out, S.l. fitted. Servo feeding cams SO taken out, S1 fitted. Starter motor SOO taken out S.O. fitted Bijurs supplying cross steering tube ball ends restrictions taken out.
The oil pump leaks all down the dashboard on the inside when filled to full capacity. We find that this does not occur if the pump is filled to within one inch of the top.

BODYWORK.
This type of body quickly gets full of rattles. The joints and catches for letting the rear portion of the hood down are not suitable for touring purposes. The windows rattle, the sliding portion at the drivers side for signaling purposes is from the first to the last one horrible rattle. Instrument boards. It is seldom found that sufficient support is allowed for the instrument board. Holes drilled in the hard wood for screws are too large and screws quickly fall out. The rear floor boards are not of sufficient strength to support the occasional seats.

BOSCH WINDSCREEN WIPER DOUBLE TYPE.
The wiper has not given any trouble. It is fairly quiet. The connecting wire between the two wipers becomes bent after a short period of use.

Total weight of complete car 20 galls. petrol, oil, water, spare wheel at rear, no passengers 2 tons. 9 cwts.17 lbs.
Dunlop silent tread tyres 33 X 6.75.
Tyre pressures 40 lbs./sq.in. front
35 lbs/sq.in. rear.
Average life of tyres during test - front 7829 miles.
rear 4500 miles.
