Description of Parts. STRONGER SPRING UNDER AUXILIARY SHOE OF REAR BRAKES.
Origin. Gives a longer life, before spring collapsed through heat.
Experimental Test Report. The present spring collapses through heat after approx. 5000 miles. The above spring has been fitted to two cars and proved satisfactory.
Road Test Report. Fitted to 19-EX and ran 10,000 miles in France. The brakes have remained free from groans or squeaks throughout the mileage. the springs are still OK.
