RE. BODY SUBFRAME.
X. 7380
X. 7830

We send herewith drgs. and prints of figs. 1 - 10 shewing illustrations which we wish to include in a book which we propose to publish on the R.R. body subframe.

Figs. 1 and 10 are made from blueprints.
Fig. 1. will be reduced to one third, and be on a sheet 12 X 9". The others will be reduced to one quarter.

We would be glad if you would make linen tracings. in ink of all these, bearing in mind the reductions in size which we have to make, which will necessitate thick lines, large lettering, and wide spacing in the cross hatching.

As this book is urgently needed in connection with the SS.{S. Smith} programme we would like to have the tracings in a few days if possible. Would you kindly tell us how soon you can arrange for this in view of the urgency?

We shall shortly send you the two drawings we propose issuing to the coachbuilders to enable the first SS.{S. Smith} bodies to be put in hand. These will be submitted to Sales before sending them to you.
