RR 239.(150 BKS) [SH57.29-e-20.] MP 224355 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To ______ 19__ Order No. WA{Mr Wallis}75(3) Customer's No. ______ continuously for the purpose of obtaining a comparison of the commutation under both conditions i.e. reversed and normal polarity. After this run the commutator was still good but slightly darker in colour. The negative and the control brushes were observed to be polished all over, whilst the positive brush, with the exception of the leading edge, was blackened all over. It will be seen from the above that the condition of the brushes after a reversed polarity run is more even and the commutation slightly better. Signed H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
