X4333 To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} C. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} RE DYNAMO BRUSHES. Referring to your Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 9/U27.8.24 (copy herewith for EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} ), we are of the opinion that the polishing of the Brushes for production should not take place until after the Expl: Dept. have made some tests and therefore we would ask you to request Le Carbones not to polish the Brushes ordered for "F" Series (20 H.P. Chassis), in our memo BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD6/ML.27.8.24, until you hear further from us. We hope to have the Experimental report in a few days when we shall be able to decide.
