Dear R.M.,

Here is a copy of correspondence we have had with Cricklewood and I shall be interested to know what is the Derby view. There are, of course, cases where these batteries have lasted six and seven years and five has been quite common, but I think the advice should be to have a battery looked at at this stage.

It is from this class of person that you will get a howl in future from the lessening of any quality and ability to last in future batteries.
