HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. Y9530 RECEIVED 10 MAY 1924 re. INSTRUMENT BOARD - 40/50 CHASSIS. We send herewith N.scheme 1808., shewing a design of grouped instruments and lighting, for EAC.2. We would like you to make us one of these as soon as possible and to send it to London in order that a coachbuilder may mount it in an instrument board, designs of which we will send you immediately. At the same time we would like Derby to also be testing the efficiency of the instrument light, using first of all a white paint reflector, and then a polished one, and both of these with and without the opal glass.
