To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} " Rv. Y4612. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/AM.8.11.31. RIBBED BRAKE DRUMS. So far the Lake and Elliott cast iron brake drums have proved very successful. We should like to obtain 4 more pairs of rear brake drums in this material. The weight figures show that we do not gain very much by using the aluminium drum and therefore at the moment we are only interested in the solid drum. In addition to these rear drums we should like some front drums in Messrs. Lake and Elliott's material. We think we could order 5 sets without danger of scrap.
