TELEPHONE NO. : 6266 MAYFAIR (2 LINES). THE MOTOR TRADE ASSOCIATION D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} C. DEFRIES GENERAL AGENT FOR THE SALE OF MOTOR CARS AND ACCESSORIES. TELEGRAMS: "STAUNCHEST, WESDO, LONDON." HOUDAILLE HYDRAULIC SUSPENSIONS FOR MOTOR CARS. SOLE CONCESSIONAIRE. 41 NEW BOND STREET, LONDON, W.1 -2- difference. When you have perused the enclosed particulars I am sure you will appreciate that however well a Car may be sprung, unless you have a system of progressively checking the recoil of springs, perfect suspension cannot be anticipated, and it is undoubtedly a fact that the better the springing the more necessary some system such as Houdaille, as with the Houdaille you run no risk in making your Springs even more flexible than you dare at present, having no check on the recoil. It is a very uncommon thing in France to see a Car without Houdailles, where all the great Makers standardise them, and in this Country the Manufacturers are only just beginning to wake up to this fact. Awaiting your reply, I remain, Yours faithfully, C.Depries | ||
