Concerning the attached thirteen questions, I only received these this morning, so am unable to answer all of them. However, C.W.B., was with me yesterday and mentioned some of the more essential ones, such as numbers (1), (3), (4), (5) and (6).

Regarding (1):-

There was no means on the switchboard of cutting out the magneto. I think this is desirable and understand that a separate switch will be provided for this purpose, which should meet all requirements.

(3) The only criticisms that I would offer in regard to this, are that, at comparatively high speed, say 50 miles per hour, over rough roads, there were some rather violent oscillations of the steering wheel. Under these conditions, I did not find the wheel as fitted to this Car, gave such nice control as the wheel with a larger section rim. I got the impression that one had to hang on tight at high speeds over rough roads. This is a point that many of our customers have always objected to.

The other criticism is that, on the over-run, the vibrations of the engine transmitted themselves to the driver via the steering column and the steering wheel and tended rather to accentuate these vibrations.

(4) In the run I made yesterday, I found nothing unsatisfactory regarding the steering at slow speeds.

(5) I think the speedometer could usefully be placed nearer the driver.

(6) The Car in question had no dipping lamp lever, but the brake and change speed seemed quite easy of manipulation.

(7) In the closed body on this Chassis I could not hear the exhaust at all.
