CJ. and CWB. tried the EAC. car around Dover and Folkestone and were delighted.

I tried it on my usual hills in the district around Gerrards Cross and in London traffic, and was equally delighted.

We saw Mr. Royce in London on his way to France yesterday and told him how delighted we were, and that we looked on this car as the attainment of what had previously appeared to us to be almost impossible, namely, considerably more powerful car than the 40/50 h.p., but with less noise, fuss and vibration than the car we are now producing. Mr. Royce seemed very pleased.

LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott}, CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}, H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints}, C., and CWB. and I are still making further tests on it during today and tomorrow and so far have found nothing but good of it now it has the 15-tooth axle.

I understand that the gear change will slide more easily in the later design. It is inclined to stick half way through the gate between 2nd. and 3rd.

It would be an advantage if the speedometer could come closer to the driver. At present it is difficult in traffic and at very high speeds safely to look right across to the other side of the dashboard.
