98-NK - PIVOT LEAN.

We require to increase the backward pivot lean on 98-NK to 4°. We assume, that to do this, we shall require a taper of .400" on the standard packing.

Will you please make us some packings for this job.

If the standard packing pieces will not allow of such a large taper, and it is likely to take a certain amount of time to obtain fresh castings, we should like you to supply us with a couple of packing pieces milled to the maximum possible taper available.
