(1). The petrol tank, together with the combined luggage grid and tank fender etc, is practically complete, and we expect the design will be sent to you within the next day or two. (2). We do not propose to do anything with the battery at the present minute, but should like you to fit them up like the standard 40/50. The reason for this is that we do not think that we can get the present battery comfortably into the frame, and the modifications to the position on the running board is largely a coach-building job. (3). We are intending to send you designs of the step irons, wing stays, lamp carriers, spare wheel carrier, etc, and we hope to have these ready for you about the end of the week. (4). We understand that you are alright on the subject of the floorboards. (5). Regarding the Klaxon push botton on the top of the steering column we should like you to use the present Goshawk switch exactly, the only difference being the slightly smaller tubes which are used on the E.A.C. steering column.
