I am requested by the Managing Director to ask that you will try and find ways and means of reducing waste of stationery, such as unnecessarily expensive binding of books, with unnecessary letter-ing on the back or front; using books or forms which are unnecessarily large; typists using large sheets of paper where small sheets would do; new envelopes being used for memoranda where old ones could be used with gummed slips attached, as we used during the war, and any other means of reducing expenditure in numerous small ways.

Kindly let me know that you have instructed your staff accordingly, so that I can send your reply to the Managing Director.

D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
