With reference to Pt1/EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}4.12.28. it is proposed to introduce some modifications in the near future to over-come the objection raised in the first paragraph in connection with lubrication of the clutch trunnion shaft.

In regard to the third paragraph of your memo our present production chassis are not provided with a lubricator in the position referred to, therefore the objection does not now apply.

In connection with leakage of oil from the rocker cover on our Phantom engines, this has now been overcome by fitting a felt joint ring.

The position in regard to the engine undershield is as given in BY6/N.19.11.28.
