X.50 Dear Sir, We understand that you were making some enquiries concerning the behaviour of Edison batteries, especially as to their capability of giving off much energy over a short period such as would be required for a self starter. Below we give some figures that we have recently obtained ourselves from a test we have recently made with a set of Edison Cells. (1) Battery of 9 cells fully charged 13.05 volts. Weight without box 44 lbs. | Amps. | Volts. | Finish. | |-----------------------|------------------------------------------|----------| | Discharged for 5 mins. at | Start 5 mins. rest between each test. | | | 10 amps. | 13.05 v.{VIENNA} | 10.65 v.{VIENNA} | | 15 | 12.85 " | 9.6 " | | 20 | 12.65 " | 8.2 " | | 25 | 12.35 " | 6.7 " | | 30 | 12.05 " | 5.45 " | | | After 30 mins. rest 12.3 volts. | | | ||
