DAMPER SCHEME WHEN USING R.R. DAMPER IN PARALLEL WITH SPRING FOR PARALLEL CONTROL ON FRONT AXLE.
-----------------

The details which we have issued as representing N.Schemes 2293/4 and 2323, will not now be required in view of the fact that we have this morning received a modified scheme increasing the length of the lever operating the piston in the damper itself, with the object of maintaining the maximum amount of damping, also certain other modifications in regard to the exhaust pipe and other details being incorporated. We do not therefore think it is worth while producing a modified or new pattern in accordance with the N.Schemes which have been cancelled. The D.O. should therefore withdraw the parts which have been issued, and stop work on same.

The amount of time lost by this will not be very great. In my opinion it is certainly not desirable to spend money on the pattern for the intermediate type which has been cut out by the improved scheme incorporated under N.Scheme 2331.
