X4050. EWP{Mr Punt}/2/MTG 16.12.29 To "D" Derby (For attention of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) From Paris Stores Dept. Re : 32 X 6.75 Dunlop Tyres Last December we received direct from Messrs DUNLOP, Birmingham, 18 Well-base tyres, buttress tread, which were sent over for the Experimental Dept. at Chateauroux. Of these we have issued 14. Will you kindly say whether you still require us to retain the remaining 4, or whether we may send them back to Works, as it is not likely that we shall have any call for them, unless at some future date the Experimental Dept. are likely to require them. In the event of their not being required, perhaps you could arrange with Dunlop of Birmingham to fix up with Dunlop of Paris to take them back into stock in France, in order to save the cost of transport.
