With reference to the four Elliott ammeters recently received for test, two of these are slightly faulty; in one it is not possible to adjust the zero correctly; in the other there is a slight crack starting from the zero adjusting screw which crack would probably develop. We had a similar fault with the previous single sample ammeter which we had from Messrs. Elliott. I think the two ammeters should be returned to them for correction. (Nos. 140998 & 141000) The two of the four received which are O.K. are being put on two experimental cars. EFC. | ||
