The Lucas representative was here yesterday and we discussed wipers with him. There are several modifications to the wipers which they say will be on before you take delivery of any, and we are to have some tested at Derby. The Mods. are mainly details to do with silence, nothing is wrong with the motor. The question of rust was mentioned and they say that it amounts lack of cleaning. The writer knows from experience that the blades seldom get wiped when the cars are washed. It is only a suggestion, but what do you think to painting the blades at the coachbuilders to match the body colour? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} | ||
