Special parts included are new liners:- Hepworth & Grandage. British Piston Ring Co. Standard. New standard pistons but with L. section 2nd. compression rings and high press. scrapers. 4 port deturbulated heads with std. compressi on ratio 6.1 Test as follows:- 1. Running in and power curve. 2. 1.000 starts on the starter motor. 3. Check ignition curves with exhaust silencer and on Ethyl as follows - (a) Line to give max. power. (b) " " be clear of detonations. (c) actual curve given by governor with the hand control fixed the ignitions being set std. that is 13° A.side 15° B.side. 4. Leaks etc. to be cured on the bed.
