This unit which is again assembled as 'Continental' practice unit to be fitted on bed. Details of test in next memo.

B.9 UNIT

Oil consumption tests to be continued and report issued on tin plated alum. pistons.

Unit with 2 inlet cam camshaft for slow running.

Is any further improvement obtained in idling if the tappet clearance is increased.

T.D.C. Relative value of running with ignition at 13° B.T.D.C. and

Power curve open exhaust.

After obtaining all information on idling with this camshaft, remove and repeat tests with standard camshaft.

B.20.

Following the preparatory tests for a chassis send to gear quiteners for quietening the timing gears.

Send in list of jobs requiring attention.

B.24.

This unit is having the T.T. type of head and block LeC.5367 fitted. Requires testing in accordance with new features.
