Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1./KT. 13th. March. 1933 S.H.Grylls Esq., Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Grylls., In reply to your letter of the 10th the firm from whom we purchase the flexible exhaust piping is the Powerflexible Tubing Co. Vale Road, London.N.4. We have experienced no trouble in leakages in this type of piping, but we have no experience as to its behaviour in the event of it being subjected to continual flexing. I should imagine that this would depend largely on the length of flex used. However, I do not think you would get any trouble if you were to use this piping in lengths not less than 12". If there is any further information you would like on this matter, I will be pleased to give it to you, on hearing from you. Yours sincerely, For ASTON MARTIN LIMITED. [Signature] A C Bertelli | ||
