Referring to your letter of the 9th.inst.

I am very sorry to say that we shall not have a car available to send down to Southsea. Several cars are being monopolised in London in connection with Spring Tests and other cars have not returned since the holidays. The only cars we have, it is necessary to keep at the Works in order to have something for the men to work on.
