Re :- Improved Type Alto Horn.

We have examined the sample supplied by Messrs.Lucas.

This outer casing certainly gives a much nicer and cleaner finish and will be easier to maintain clean from the customer's point of view.

We attach hereto a blue print showing how we propose to mount this horn on the head lamp pillars, and we have indicated how this design could not be used because the overall outside diameter has been increased and also the depth which would mean that we have to mount the horn further away from the lamp pillar and, owing to the larger diameter, there is insufficient room between the edge of the horn and the mudwing.

This new cover does not fit snugly to the horn and we suggest that an improvement could be made ,as we have indicated, making the horn less deep and enabling us to fit it in our proposed position without interfering with the accessibility of the lamp.
