X6032 RECEIVED JAN 3 To BY from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ROY{Sir Henry Royce}1/MG3.1.33 ---------------- You will recollect that Sales were suggesting the other day Lucas "Alto" Horns should be made with Staybrite fittings to match the Radiator, and not Chrome Plated fittings as at present. Messrs. Lucas are quite prepared to put forward proposals covering such modification should we so wish, but, before doing so, have submitted an Improved Type "Alto" Horn, which they claim is a distinct improvement in appearance. The mechanism and note are identical with the model we have now standardised. It can be made in either Firth's Staybrite or Chrome Plated as at present. The sample submitted, of course is Chrome Plated. They would like our opinion on this sample, and would gladly make up a sample for inspection in either our present standard, or this later type, with Staybrite details should we wish. BY will recollect Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} was suggesting the other day we should revert to Chrome Plated Radiators. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} WST ENCLOSURE. Sample to BY - which kindly pass to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} also. | ||
