X.4372 With reference to the front axle for "Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) 11", there will be some little change made with reference to the pads on which the spring sits. This will probably be of the present pattern, but somewhat longer, not for a wider spring, but along the axis of the car. i.e. increasing the centres from about 1 3/8" to at least 1 3/4". I think our 40/50 the clips are too near together, being only 1 1/2". We are considering increasing this to 2" and testing another pattern of clip. R. {Sir Henry Royce} | ||
