Let me see Cost figures Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. For the Attention of Mr. Steadman. Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 9th inst., reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.3/JH, we confirm that we have put in hand one 58 mm. Mark VI Matrix to Drawing EB.2513, and we are arranging to complete this in one week. We regret, however, that we have no material to make up this matrix with .005" tinned waterways and .004" untinned centre strips to give you the required delivery. We are therefore making it up in .006" and .004" tinned material. The cost figures referred to in your letter were posted to Mr. Royce on Tuesday last, and we hope that these will prove satisfactory to you. Yours faithfully, For JOHN MARSTON Limited, Howard Southall. Works Engineer. | ||
