Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. 86051 WST D/BP/HF{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}4/OG2-2-34. Re: Chassis No. B-171-AE Capt. Eric Burt. Further to correspondence re instruments, Captain Burt now asks to be provided with a speedometer and rev. counter not mounted in a patch. Except for the difference resulting from the omission of the patch, the two instruments are to be of standard diameter. They are to be suitable for slot illumination instead of glass edge and the markings on the dials are to be inverted as compared with the standard. The rev. counter should, of course, incorporate a clock, as is standard. Sales Dept.wish to know whether we can supply the special instruments required and whether there will be an extra charge and, if so, how much. D/BP. | ||
