K.4265 RECEIVED Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} MAR 24 1921 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/CB24-3-21. x.4265. RR GOSHAWK II - SIDE STEERING TUBE. Please receive three blue prints of "N" Scheme 811 shewing the shape of the side steering tube and its motions and clearances. Also three blue prints of "N" Scheme 702 which shews the ends for the above side steering tube. It will be noted that the shape of tube shewn on "N" Sch: 702 is obsolete, and the ends only, are to be worked to. Of the alternative rear ends shewn, we think that shewn on Fig 2 is the one that should be worked to, though Mr Royce has not given us a definite choice, though approving of the side tube in general. Please put details in hand. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
