XL265 SIDE STEERING TUBE. Goshawk II

Since we instructed the shape of the side steering tube Mr Royce has modified the ends somewhat. We accordingly send herewith three blue prints of "N" Scheme 915 - double split type end similar to that on Goshawk I, and "N" Sch: 916 Marine type end.

Mr Royce wishes models to be made of both these ends in brass or in some other simple way, to be sent down for approval before deciding which one to go on with.

In the case of "N" Scheme 916 the end shewn is the rear end; the forward end is to be exactly the same as the present Goshawk I.

There is a further joint, which is that shewn on the present "Goshawk II" cross steering tube; Mr Royce wishes this joint to be proceeded with, and at the same time a model of it to be made to be sent along with the other models.
