We are pleased to note from your 30.11.31 that you have located the cause of your overheating at low speeds. It is rather surprising that we have not run into this trouble before because the Drawing Office limits allow .030" clearance between the rotor when they all go one way and therefore there must be a lot of cars out on the road in this condition. We are making some tests on a chassis to see exactly what clearance causes trouble with the low speed circulation to start.

Braking. We have sent out a brake lever.

Detonations. We should be interested to know what fuel you are using and how much you have to retard the ignition on the worst ordinary fuel that can be obtained in France.

Radiator Mounting. We will send off the bakelite cup as requested.

We hope that either Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} or myself will come out to try the car during the next 10 days, when possibly it will be necessary to run some of R's luggage to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence, as the 25 HP he is going to use is too small to carry the necessary equipment.
