R.R. 285a (100 T) (S.H. 159, 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 X 3790 To Mr Warwick from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}15/CB7-1-21. Re Mascot & Radiator Cap. Replying to your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW4/LG31-12-20, at the time this new method of fixing the mascot on the radiator cap was proposed we instructed a deepening in the foot of the mascot so that a longer stud might be used, but at the time there were a number of mascots in the works, or on order, with a very short tapped hole, and we believe that these were used up as long as they lasted. We should very much like to know, therefore, whether the new lengthened stud is used as standard, and whether many have gone out with this new stud. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
