We have had some correspondence with Sales Dept:

Re. the above.
They wished to know whether the stud was sweated in the Mascot and we replied that this was always done on being assured that this was so by Mr. Ellis.
Attached please find memo. from Sales, in which they state that 5 Inspectors at Coachbuilders have never received any Mascots with the studs sweated in.
We think this is a matter Test Dept. should take up and investigate.
