25/30 HP. Radiator.

With reference to the 25/30 radiator with the thinner matrix and sheet metal sideplates, it will be remembered that we built one of these up with a 4" top tank - LeC.4967, and then decided [handwritten: agreed] that its appearance was inadmissible.

It was decided however to test this radiator in France, and it is presumed that GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} has been giving this some running on 22-G-V.{VIENNA} In the meantime the scheme has been re-drawn, as shown on LeC.5112, with the standard width of top tank, and we believe the difference between the two schemes LeC.4967 and LeC.5112 is so small that the standardisation test for the former also clears the latter.

We should be glad to know if you are in a position to issue a standardisation sheet for this modified radiator.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
