Dear Sir,

The R.R. 40 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Gun No.S.4870 was safely delivered to the British Power Boat Company on Saturday, 21st September at 2.0 p.m., and installation is now in progress. Firing trials will commence at 10.0 a.m. Thursday, 26th September.

Comm. Young has seen the gun today, and has raised the following points :-

(1) Rotating stop bracket on mounting is too weak.
(2) Armour Shields required for trials.
(3) Attachment desired to retain rubber muzzle cover when not in use.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd). N. Morley.
